Colourful Easter magic

14–16

Unique Easter eggs are made during a creative afternoon. Artistic and colourful decorations are designed using a variety of materials. Whether classically decorated, interpreted in a modern way or playfully decorated - there is something here for young and old.

The event will be held in German, Polish and Ukrainian.

Holiday offer: Creative afternoon for pupils and families

During a guided tour, children get to know Kleist and the museum named after him. Creative impulses from the exhibition visit are then used to design individual memorabilia in the museum workshop.

Pots, flowers and stories

14–16

A creative afternoon that combines literature, art and nature: inspired by Kleist's works, young and old design their own ceramic pots. After painting them with colours and patterns, they will be planted with flowers that Kleist mentioned in his texts.

The event will be held in German, Polish and Ukrainian.

We offer a variety of free guided tours through the permanent exhibition and our current special exhibition. Our rooms and, weather permitting, the museum garden invite you to linger:

11 a.m.: Guided tour of the permanent exhibition in German
11.30 a.m.: Guided tour of the exhibitions in English
1 pm: Curator's guided tour of the special exhibition in German
13:30: Guided tour of the permanent exhibition in simple German
2.30 pm: Guided tour of the exhibitions in Polish
4 pm: Guided tour of the exhibitions in Ukrainian

Neighbourhood Day

During a cosy afternoon in the museum garden, you can find out more about our programme highlights this year. From 4.30 pm, Ukrainian harpist Zoryana Babyuk will take us on a musical journey through Europe.

Scenes on fabric

14–16 Uhr

Inspired by historical posters, theatre playbills and illustrations from the special exhibition, unique jute bags are designed in the style of these objects or entirely to your own taste. Whether artistic lettering, dramatic scenes or graphic elements - with textile colours, each bag becomes a very personal work of art.

The event will be held in German, Polish and Ukrainian.
