Picnic with Kleist (II)

What was this order of the heart that Prince Frederick of Homburg followed at the decisive moment of the battle? And what does Princess Natalie's glove have to do with it? Veronika Weisheimer and Viviane Meierdreeß talk about one of Heinrich von Kleist's most famous dramas in our Kleist Garden. Bring picnic blankets and food, drinks can be bought on site.

If required, we offer translations into Polish, Ukrainian and English.

Picnic with Kleist (III)

Penthesilea, the woman who ‘bloomed too proudly and vigorously’, is one of Kleist's most exciting dramatic characters. We are presenting the eponymous drama, which was first performed on stage almost 70 years after it was written, in the museum garden. Bring picnic blankets and food, drinks can be bought on site.

If requested, we offer translations into Polish, Ukrainian and English.
